Flip Licking

Phillip “Flip” Licking is the founder and operator of Stable Productions Ranch. As a born-and-raised Nebraska Sandhills ranch kid, Flip was involved with animal husbandry since he was old enough to go out to the barn. From a very young age, Flip was persistent in asking for orphan goat kids and lambs to care for. As he got older, the animals he wanted got larger and more exotic. First starting with elk and bison, his ranch progressed from there.

Flip, with the help of his family, is dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences to all, especially to children with disabilities and veterans. From their hearts and passion, they offer Stable Productions.

The Barn

It had always been our dream to open a fully accessible lodging option right on the ranch. In 2014, construction commenced.

The River

The Middle Loop River is the lifeline of the Sandhills. A one mile stretch of it runs right through the ranch and provides animals and guests alike a place to relax and play.

The Animals

We have multiple herds spanning many species here on our ranch. Some are native to the Sandhills, but many more are from exotic locations. From deer, elk, and bison, to zebras, camels, and kangaroos, you never know what you’ll find here! Some animals are for sale too.
