Water Buffalo
The water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) or domestic water buffalo is a large bovid originating in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and China. Their horns grow outward, and curve in a semicircle, but always remain more or less on the plane of the forehead. These gentle giants are such a pleasure to be around, they are always there wanting their back scratched or nose rubbed. Just watch out for their long tongues!
